and light are an additional array of adjectives to help summarize it. What about the
new clutch? Yawn. The old one worked
great and was good for 150 hours of abuse.
Supposedly this one reduces the width of
the engine. We didn't break out the ruler to
confirm. Honestly, who cares as the bike is
already slender and light feeling.
When our KTM Rep asked about our dislikes, we tore into him about his silly looking KTM sneakers, his prissy new white
KTM gear, his unwashed truck and industry focused wardrobe. When asked to
focus on the bike, we had nothing. Yet.
Assuming the 2013 KTM XC 250 that we
tested a few weeks ago isn't some freakish,
magazine specific, factory prepared anomaly, and is truly representative of every
other stock 2013 XC 250 out there, than I
can say that it is the best out-of-the-box,
race ready bike that I have tried to date. I
have very little to snivel about. Yet.
