The WR is most fun when ridden like a 125 - wrung out! extolling the Husqvarna as the best handling, best suspended bike he's ever had. The motor is about what you would expect for a small bore off the sales floor: a little flat off the bottom followed by a mid range hit. With a heavier flywheel feel, the Husqvarna doesnt explode into the mid range like a typical 125. Instead, the transition is a bit smoother with even more potential for improvement via jetting and a gearing change. If we had more time, we would have installed leaner jetting and changed the stock gearing from 13/50 to 13/51. Regardless of the need for different jetting and gearing, we were impressed that the little Husqvarna could hold such low revs. The heavier flywheel allowed us to noodle through the many rock gardens and crawl up hills without any stalling incidents. Will the bottom end impress anyone? Well, it's certainly not a tractor but it is still surprising to be able hold such low revs on a small bore. January 2013 17
