28 Trail Rider www.TrailRider.com Product Review W.E.R. Steering Damper Hello to all my friends and fellow riders. I'm Jeff Villanucci. Some of you may know me as the617rippah. I can't thank Kurt Flash and Team Trail Rider enough for giving me the opportunity to showcase the Works Enduro Rider steering Damper on my 2018 Yamaha YZ250X. The installa on of the damper was pre y straigh orward with both the detailed instruc on manual and the help of Sco Kilton of Team Trail Rider. For starters, there is a frame mount and a fender-mounted damper, with a link rod connect- ing the two. The term "measure twice, cut once," comes to mind on this build as the frame mount has three holes. The frame mount u lized two current moun ng points by the OEM U-shaped cable clap, while the third hole needed to be drilled and tapped.
