reenfield, Massachusetts - With the remnants
of Blizzard Nemo as the backdrop, the first
round of the JDay Off Road Triple Crown
Winter Series kicked off in fine fashion with fantastic
track conditions and excellent spectating. Despite the
groomed conditions, there was no shortage of slide
outs, snow-padded yard sales, and high fun mayhem
that generally defines this series.
This race took a herculean effort to make happen with
the JDay Crew removing up to two feet of snow from
the track. Even with the plowed conditions, passing
was at a premium. Riders that attempted to barrel
through the snow or veer off course in an attempt to
pass were often white-washed in a cold pile of snow.
The spin outs and over the bars action made for excellent family fun.
Despite series Champion Johnny Girroir being sidelined with a broken bone in his hand, there was no
shortage of bar-banging action when the flag dropped.
When the action in the main event began, it was Josh
Cennamo grabbing the holeshot aboard his brand new
Valley Motorsports KTM 300. Early on, Josh looked
like he was going to check out until Dylan Macrtitchie methodically crept towards the front of pack.
Macritchie would eventually slip by Cennamo in
what was a wheel-to-wheel last lap.

Brendan was leading the NETRA Seacoast Hare

He then finished third overall at the NETRA Snow
