Round 3 F AR/Husqvarna rider Andrew Delong carved through the parched and varied Texas terrain en route to his first ever National Enduro win at the third round of the AMA/Rekluse National Enduro Series in Blackwell, Texas. The win marks the first time Husqvarna has step foot on the top of the podium in over a decade, when Fred Hoess did it last in 2003. While others were dusting themselves off from crashes and mishaps, Delong kept his head down and rode a smart, consistent race - never falling from the top 5 throughout the day. The ECEA native set the tone early by finishing just 2 seconds behind KTM/FMF Factory rider Charlie Mullins and Shenandoah Honda rider Thad Duvall after the first test. Delongs smooth and consistent style was enough to hold off a late race charge by FMF/Husaberg rider Russell Bobbitt. Heading into the final test, Delong held a 21 second lead over Andrew Delong rode a smooth and consitent race to earn his rst National Enduro win.
