I figured the course would be wet and muddy and getting caught up in the pack would make things more difficult. The terrain there is fast and rocky and if you go down trying to make a pass it can end badly for you. So getting the holeshot was key. Overall, I chose good lines, the bike worked great and I generally avoided any trouble. I ended up gapping the field by about 30 seconds a lap and finished with a safe margin.
