It could be a long season for the competition. Round 1 April 27th, 2013 Berkshire GP, Lanesborough, MA. ith blue skies and the emerging green-of-summer as the back drop, over 500 riders showed up to race the valleys and hillsides of the Berkshire Mountains in Western, Massachusetts for the opening round of the JDay Offroad Series. The off-season saw a couple of moves that included Series Champion Johnny Girroir and runner up Josh Cenamo make the switch from Yamaha to KTM. Girroir spent much of the off-season rehabbing a wrist injury, raising some questions as to how prepared he would be for the series opener. The question turned out to be ridiculous as Girroir pounded the competition, much like last year. The Berkshire GP garnered a huge pool of local MX and off-road talent that included KTM's Robbie Marshal, Pennsylvannia rider Tegan Temple, NETRA Hare Scramble Champion Jason Klammer and multi-time NETRA Champion Jake Korn . There were also a handful of notable MX'ers such as Kyle Hango's, Jake Abbot, Jared Boothroyd, and Jacob Morrison.
