NETRA Hare Scramble Series
Round 3, Tuxedo Ridge Hare Scramble
May 4th, 2013
Unusually dry conditions greeted the riders and
fans at Round 3 of the NETRA Hare Scramble Series in Tuxedo, NY. The absence of mid-Spring
moisture left the slopes and side trails of the
Tuxedo Ridge Ski Area a loose mixture of sand and
gravel, making traction difficult.

With Dylan Corcoran grabbing the hole shot, the
field was left to choke on his dust. The parched
conditions did little to deter Series Champion Jason
Klammer as he motored through the AA line after a
first corner crash. About half way through the first
lap, Dylan Macritchie had worked his way through
the crowd with Klammer in tow. At some point
during the second lap, Klammer moved past
Macritchie and never looked back. Macritchie kept
Klammer somewhat honest throughout most of day
before being distanced towards the end of the race.
