Product Feature Product Feature E Line Carbon Fiber Accessories E Line Carbon Fiber Accessories By Kurt Flachbart By Kurt Flachbart 16 Trail Rider www.TrailRider.com The process of accessorizing a new ride is fun. We enjoy personalizing our bikes with components that have proven their worth over me. Protec ng the investment is key and enhancing the look is fun too. Although our new '24 KTM HARDENDURO edi on does come from the factory with a skid plate, coverage is minimal. Enter E Line Accessories, located right here in the good 'ol US of A and run by ISDT/E legend Ron Ribolzi. When given a choice, we'd always choose to spend our hard-earned cash with an enthusiast-run opera on and E Line fits the descrip on to a T. Founded by off-road champion Kevin Hines more than 30 years ago, E Line Accessories has been at the top of its game for decades with no sign of slowing down. Several years back, Kevin had men- oned to Ron that he was interested in selling E Line so he could do something different. Friends for decades, the two hammered out a deal over a few drinks and soon a er, E Line moved from Cape Cod Massachuse s to Columbia, Illinois. There's no ques on that new blood breathes enthu- siasm and with Ron Ribolzi at E Line's helm, he's proud to say they've added over 50 new items to their product line with many more in development. As for E Line's components under Ron's watch, we're thoroughly impressed. The fit and finish is of Formula One technology. E Line uses a composite of carbon fiber, Kev- lar, fiberglass, and resins. The use of Kevlar in skid plate manufacturing is unique to E Line. There is good reason as Kevlar is the material of choice in the manufacture of bullet-proof vests, wear-resistant gloves, and high-impact-resistant kayaks and canoes. Kevlar disperses impact, has a longer fa gue life, and has a greater tensile strength than just about any other material, including aluminum.
