A er passing through the towns of Topsham, Corinth, Washington, and Vershire, we were treat- ed to a delicious catered lunch at the Tunbridge Fairgrounds. With full bellies, our group was led back along two-track Jeep roads with tree-shaded canopies and some more sweet Class 4 roads with a number of rocky ledge hill climbs through the towns of Strafford and West Fairlee, winding back to New- bury, where we crossed the bridge and returned to the N. Haverhill Fairgrounds, logging 137 miles in total. Mud Sweat and Gears was a blast and I'm hap- py to report all 15 riders made it through without a single flat or nasty crash. That's a successful ride in anyone's book! With epic rains falling immediately a er dinner, most re red early and rested up for another day of fun and adventure. I'd decided to spend Friday visit- ing vendors and taking advantage of the many test bikes available, with my first test of the day being the Honda Africa Twin.
