July 2025 19 This sets the stage for a very ght ba le in this year's championships in all of the Pro classes with the two Rachels in a fight for Women's Elite and team mates Stew Baylor and Josh Toth looking like they'll have to slug it out for top Pro1 honors. In the Pro2 class it is Jhak Walker, Chase Landers, and Nick DeFeo all with- in a couple of points of each other, so every pro class in the na onals is going to be fun to watch. Other notable finishes for Six Days vets and hopefuls included Ma Stavish winning the 55A class, desert ace Paul Krause topping the 60As, and Steve Under- wood taking 65A honors. Layne Whitmer topped the AA class, a tune up ride for his upcoming ISDE ride in Italy, and local James Jenkins smoked the 250A class. James' older brother Huck, an ISDE vet, had to sit this one out due to injury, but James has been win- ning everything in sight of late and should certainly be a Six Days prospect in coming years. Huge thanks, as always, to the property owners, dozens of volunteer course workers, and the hard working NEPG crew. It doesn't happen without all of them. The series moves north to the Li le Racoon in Ohio and the Ra lesnake in Pennsylvania before returning to the east side of Missouri and the classic Lead Belt na onal at Park Hills. There's going to be some great racing in the months to come. Get out and work one close to you for the best seat in the house or prep your bike and fall in with America's fastest enduro riders to get a taste of the ac on for yourself. Can't think of a be er way to spend a week- end! -Jeff
