38 Trail Rider www.TrailRider.com Seat Concepts Element Seat As one who enjoys longer rides, inves ng in a com- fortable seat is good money spent in my opinion. Yes, we all should be standing while riding technical, chal- lenging terrain, but during transfer sec ons and easy cart roads, si ng down can and will happen. It's also a good me to take a rest before hi ng it hard again in the rock and roots. Having run many Seat Concepts seats over the years, their product has proven its worth. Constructed en rely in the US, the materials are top shelf, and the foam does not break down. Yes, quality of workmanship is appreciated, but where Seat Concepts seats really shine is how they are a key ingredient in reducing fa gue on long rides. Let's face it, today's bikes rarely come with a comfortable seat from the factory, most o en resul ng in a severe case of "Monkey Bu " a er a long ride. Seat Concepts gets this and offers seats to fit the needs of each and every rider. As for this feature, I chose the Element Seat, which s ll retains a rela vely narrow profile yet offers great support towards the rear, without hin- dering movement fore and a while dancing on the pegs.
