Developed for hard enduro use, it's proven to be quite durable, resis ng dents that I was sure would have happened, and the nickel-plated finish s ll looks great. Given the results we've experi- enced, we thought this cool combo might be a great holiday gi for that dirt freak in the family. For those unfamiliar, OXA Factory is a Spanish ex- haust brand with more than 25 years of experience crea ng exhaust packages for most popular makes and models. Its large produc on capacity is accom- panied by high-quality mig-welded products en- dorsed by top riders such as Graham Jarvis, Wade Young, and Alfredo Gomezas. OXA pipes are totally handmade, unique pieces that ooze quality. The components not only look great — thanks to the nickel-plated pipe — but the installa on process is painless, as rarely does an a ermarket exhaust system fall right into place. We like how OXA uses earlier-genera on KTM rubber offset mounts, which enhance flexibility while reducing vibra on, rather than a rigid mount. The OXA silencer is also a direct bolt-on unit, al- though a few inches longer than stock. It retains the stock rubber moun ng bushings and hardware, and the alignment was perfect. The exhaust note is pleasant and unoffensive. With the silencer being longer in length than OEM, the bike is a bit quieter, and that's a good thing in to- day's world. The pipe design complements our TSP tune quite well, with a li le more torque down low and revs higher when twisted on the green map. The bonus lies in the cost. Where the OEM pipe retails for $572.45, Slavens offers the OXA Factory pipe at $265 —a whopping 54% savings over stock, with increased performance to boot! For the silencer, OXA's Hard Enduro Edi on unit retails for $260.00, whereas the OEM silencer retails for $629.95 -an incredible 58%+ savings over the stock component! To sum up, we're thoroughly impressed. The OXA Factory pipe-and-silencer package delivers on so many levels.
