December 2025 11 What's it take to win an overall championship, you ask? Well, first and foremost is a dedicated family unit. The Rocha family belongs to only one organi- za on, and that's NETRA. As for Tyler, even at the young age of 18, he's not missed a race since 2014. With approximately 14 races per season, that's 150+ races of solid a endance. Bruce Rocha's bike and maintenance program is solid. Each season begins with two new, current-year KTMs of the same displacement, allowing for a prac ce bike and a race bike, as well as the ability to swap parts if needed. The Rocha family travels together in their motorhome, always arriving early to be well-rested for race day. Spending a weekend with these fine folks was fun for me, and to be honest, not quite what I expected. You'd think with so many cham- pionships in this family, the vibe might be tense. In fact, what I experienced was just the opposite. The Rochas are relaxed and don't seem to get too wound up about the situa on at hand. They simply deal with it, handling situa ons within their own abili es while not taking things too seriously. Goals for 2026? Tyler's aiming to maintain a top three posi on. As Tyler told me in closing, he just likes to keep it fun, and I like that! The Rocha family would like to thank their sponsors: Motorbikes Plus, Tasha Fuels & Propane, Moose Off Road, Factory Connec on, MOTOREX Enduro Engineering, IMS, FMF, XC Gear, SXS
