January 2026 25 Basically, all that's required to install the Nihilo fuel pump is to unclip the wiring harness from the fuel pump and disconnect the fuel line at the quick connector located next to the thro le body. Either remove all the bolts securing the tank to the bike or remove it en rely if you wish. The next step is to remove the four 6 mm screws fastening the pump to the tank, pull the pump, unclip the connector at the top of the pump, and clip the wiring harness from the Nihilo pump into the OEM pump con- nectors. The next step is to fasten the Nihilo pump hose to the OEM pump with the supplied zip es. The Nihilo pump is then inserted into the lower-le corner of the tank, ensuring the fuel line curvature faces forward. The OEM pump is then reinstalled in the exact loca on. Yes, it's that simple. As for electrical requirements, the addi onal pump's draw is minute, at only 189 milliamps, and will not tax your stator output. As with the OEM pump, once the engine starts, both pumps will run. If the Nihilo pump were to fail, the OEM pump would s ll con n- ue to run. For more informa on, visit nihiloconcepts.com part # SKU NCFTPK $199.99.
