February 2026 31 As for the swap meet, 2026 may have been the best one to date. For those who've yet to a end, it's one fabulous event that includes a bike show with examples of the finest rides you'll ever imag- ine. These impeccably restored motorcycles are nothing short of perfec on, with many looking much be er than the day they were rolled onto the showroom floor. Notables were Kevin Dono- van's gorgeous 1974 Penton Mint 400 and Kevin Lavoie's John Penton replica, 1970 "Steel Tank" Penton 125. I'm also happy to report "Covid Pricing" seems to have run its course, with many deals to be found and many bikes sold. One bike in par cular, a 1974 Yamaha DT360A, caught my eye. This bike was as perfect as any vintage enthusiast could wish for. With flawless original paint and chrome, along with all original components, including the tach, spee- do, turn signals, and priced at $3400 or best offer, I thought it was a genuine bargain. As always, parts sales looked to be booming, with many proudly lug- ging their treasures as they searched for more. As for your editor Kurt, I had a wonderful me as always at the PVR Banquet and Swap Meet. For those who visited the Trail Rider booth, purchased a subscrip on, or said hello, I thank you kindly. For subscribers who introduced themselves, it's always a pleasure. This is one event that I wish could go on for days! -Kurt
