A New Era of Leadership In 2021, the series entered a new chapter when Ethan Broatch took over. His mission was simple: build bigger, move faster, aim higher. Broatch understood the strong founda on that had already been built, but he also saw uncharted po- ten al. Under his leadership, J Day has experienced rapid expansion, elevated professionalism, and a renewed focus on delivering a first-class experience for riders, families, and fans alike. In his second year of running the series, Ethan landed a support deal with Red Bull - a rare feat. Red Bull does not just "sponsor" anyone. They saw a well-run niche market in what J Day is capturing with a vision of future off-road events. Advancing further, Red Bull increased their support in 2026 and included coverage by the Red Bull Team. Perhaps the most significant move came with the expansion beyond New England. What was once a New England-sanc oned series now stretches down the East Coast, introducing two overlapping championship series: The New England GP Championship Series The AMA East GP Regional Championship Series Each series features eight rounds, giving riders more opportuni es to compete while expanding the brand's geographic footprint. The 2026 season marks the most ambi ous evolu on in J Day's history, stretching from Massachuse s to Florida. For East Coast off-road racers, the opportuni- ty to compete in a unified, professionally run GP-style championship without traveling across the country is a game-changer. Eleva ng the Rider Experience While the racing format is the founda on, the culture surrounding J Day has been equally important to its rise over the past years. Broatch has emphasized a en on to detail that sets the series apart. Champagne bo le celebra ons for podium finishers bring a pro-level energy to the awards ceremony. Youth riders are recognized with their own dedicated podium presenta ons, ensuring the next genera on feels just as valued as the Pros. March 2026 17
