30 Trail Rider www.TrailRider.com Product Feature Product Feature Preston Petty Products Preston Petty Products By Kurt Flachbart By Kurt Flachbart We've got exci ng news to share, my friends: Paul Stannard, owner of the iconic brand Preston Pe y Products, has moved all manufacturing back to the USA, and they're celebra ng with a few new addi- ons to their product line. One of which is Preston Pe y fenders, and their classic headlight/number- plate is now available in Kawasaki green. The ming couldn't have been more perfect as we were in the process of waking up a favorite vintage ride in our fleet, a 1980 Kawasaki KDX175, and freshening up the look with a set of Preston Pe y fenders and ligh ng kit was just what we were looking for to make this project pop! An upgrade was in order if we were to do any night riding at all. Fortunately, Preston Pe y Products makes upgrading your lights easy with their bat- tery-powered LED light kit. Powered by a recharge- able lithium ba ery, it lasts up to 5 hours on a full charge and delivers a whopping 1200 lumens of light from a 30-degree flood beam. That's right, with this kit, there's no more need for an a ermarket igni on system with a ligh ng coil. No more 6v or 12v issues. No more wiring ques- ons. You only need to charge the ba ery with the supplied 110-volt charger, install the headlight with
