May 2026 19 Pro 1 Winner Liam Draper Pro 1 Winner Liam Draper *Even if you suck at moto (like me), it is only two miles and 4 or 5 minutes out of your life. We've all had miserable days where we thought the mud, slop, rocks, rain, etc. would never end. At the Super Test, even if it sucks for you, you know the end is just a couple of minutes away. *Even if you suck at moto (like me), you cannot deny that moto skills do transfer into the woods and do make you a more rounded rider. There's a reason the fast guys train at tracks like this. *The controlled se ng makes for good s ll, video, and drone coverage for series promo on, sponsor endorsement, brand adver sing and recogni on, and individual rider promo on, as well as the oppor- tunity for na onal live coverage. I didn't ride the weekend, but from a worker bee perspec ve, I thought the two-day format was very good. Sure, it was a lot of hard work and long days to pull off, but I liked it. I think the vast majority of riders enjoyed it, too, despite some of the aforemen- oned travel issues. I spoke to a few dozen racers over the weekend, of all ages and skill levels, and I honestly didn't hear anyone badmouth it... Well, except for the one guy whining because he didn't buy a Farm 14 T-shirt before they sold out. He should have followed the FAHQ Racing wisdom of "Get Yours Before You Can't Get Yours," but by not doing so, he brought us great delight because... "We're Not Happy Til You're Not Happy." ANEC will have another two-day event this fall in So- phia, WV. I'm sure some details will get tweaked be- tween now and then, but for the first shot out of the gate, I think Stew and crew did a great job at Farm 14. We can do two things to help the series keep improving. One is to give construc ve feedback on what worked and what didn't, and offer sugges ons if you can see an easier way. This isn't a bitch with your buddies over beer cuz you didn't like the mud bog in test 3 issue, it is a "What can we do to make this be er for everybody" issue. Be the solu on. Second thing is to jump in and help. Let Stew or Blake Plonsky know you'll be available to help. "Hey, I'm gonna be there early, I can help pound stakes Fri- day," or "I'm racing Saturday, but I can work a check Sunday" (or vice versa). Un l you get to a na onal way early, you have no idea how much me and energy these guys put into making your race day fun. I'm not kidding when I tell you they are literally up before daybreak and don't stop ' l well a er dark. It's hard work, but it can be a ton of fun (cuz you're hanging with fellow dirt freaks) and I guarantee it is appreciated by all.
