From 125s to 500s, all have shone in their own special ways, and all have finished every event without even a hiccup. As an admi ed "Euro Snob," all the Beta motorcycles we've tested have been a great fit ergonomically for me and the team, and the type of terrain we enjoy the most, slower-going, rocky/rooty challenging terrain. To sum it up, we like how Beta motorcycles perform. What I've enjoyed has been watching these fine Italian steeds evolve every year. Some differences have been subtle, others great advancements, and those who've been Beta fans for any length of me, will agree that it's remarkable that all these refinements Beta has made over the years have been posi ve. I truly believe this is the result of a company that listens to its customers. Huge respect, Beta! As for this year's long-term test bike, the 2026 430 RR Race, we couldn't think of a be er step up, so to speak, from our much-loved 2025 Beta 350 X-PRO that we put through the wringer all last year over the course of four New England seasons. That 350 X-PRO delivered on all accounts. In the never-ending search for perfec on, we felt the natural progression would be a bike with more power, but not too much, and suspension that would handle the more demanding needs of our faster riders. Hence, the Beta 430 RR Race and its KYB suspension. In last month's teaser piece on the 430 RR Race, our man Beau Viens raved about the bike. With zero seat me, he warmed up to it immediately, and within half an hour behind the bars, Beau became one with the bike like a well-prac ced dance partner and put on quite the "Beau Show" for our photographer, Paul Bick- ford. As for your editor, Kurt, oh yes, I was excited about ge ng familiar with this sexy Italian, but wondered if it would fit my much slower, more relaxed pace of trail riding. What I enjoyed the most about last year's 350
