July 2026 17 5) I didn't realize there was a remote gas stop and therefore failed to put gas on the trailer. When I arrived at the checkpoint and made this alarming discovery, what did I do? a) Stole a splash of someone else's gas and prayed to the motorcycle gods forforgive- ness. b) Asked one of my compe tors for some gas, and they took pity on me. c) Coasted all the way down the mountain with the bike off and rode very slowly and steadily down the road transfer (I was passed by a serious-looking cyclist). d) I always carry five euro and a small bo le of two-stroke oil, so I made a quick detour to the nearest gas sta on along the route of our transfer 6) There were three "shortcuts" for the women to bypass sec ons of transfer trail that were consid- ered "too difficult". How many mes did I fail to take the shortcut? a) Three mes, because I have a bad history with shortcuts and don't read/ speak Portuguese (see: Portugal GP 2025 – missed shortcut, added 40 seconds to my special test me, lost the win over it; Cor- duroy Enduro 2025 – accidently rode an extra three miles in a test that the women weren't supposed to do, no change to posi on; Spain GP 2026 – Rode pro men's transfer, no me lost, just mashed m brake pedal p and two toes). b) None, because I have finally learned my lesson from the above situa ons. c) Three mes, because I had like twenty minutes at the checkpoint on lap one and curiosity finally got the be er of me on lap two. 7) I am quite a bit faster than the Portugues wom- en. What was my biggest gap over second place in the Enduro test (rounded). a) Thirty seconds b) Forty seconds c) Fi y seconds 8) Despite the rumors, I am a well-adjusted person who is not completely insane. So, like all normal people do, when I am at a race without much compe on, I race imaginary people who aren't actually there, and usually they beat me. Which imaginary rider was I racing this weekend? a) Brandy Richards b) Francesa Noccera c) Rosie Rowe d) Korie Steede e) I said I was a normal person who doesn't do weird, obsessive shit like this. f) None of the above 9) We rode through a public park on the transfer. What unfortunately med event was also occur- ring in the park that day? a) Birdwatchers conven on b) Youth orchestra recital c) Outdoor yoga and medita on retreat 10) I only lost two extreme tests this weekend. Once from a crash, and the other me from a problem in the rock garden. What was the prob- lem? a) Tape caught up in the rear wheel. b) Rocks had moved, my good line had sud- denly become a very bad line indeed. c) Dabbed a foot, then somehow didn't realize when I put my foot back on; I was standing on my own rear brake. Took an embarrassingly long me to realize this. d) Answers (b) and (c) 11) Speaking of un med sec ons – match the name for it with the region that calls it by that name: a) Transfer trail United States/Canada b) The going Portuguese/Spanish c) Rally United Kingdom 12) Riders with no standing in series points start at the end of their class each day.
