the morning a er - this is the thing that (at least
for now) gives my life meaning. It's the only thing
I really want to do. And it is undoubtedly be er
to win the championship than to not win the
championship.
According to Wikipedia, Laia Sanz has the most
women's EnduroGP tles. Six of them. Seven,
that seems like as good a goal as anything else I
can come up with. For the last year, between my
dad and the rest of my family, my friends on and
off the track, Rieju Spain and Kiwi and Jay Hall
and John Ross and Mark Berg and Billy Schlag and
AW Dermo , and all the other countless people
who genuinely care and want me to succeed and
be happy… yeah, I have an incredible team behind
me. Now that I have my health, a motorcycle I'm
happily married to, and my love of the sport back,
I think it's maybe even a goal I can accomplish.
Those championship stars, they may never quite
fill the void that some mes feels as deep and
dark as outer space itself. But I s ll plan to collect
them, un l there's a whole constella on there on
my wrist.
