The next upgrade has been a kit that's been on
Mully's want list for some me now. With days get-
ng shorter, ligh ng kits make perfect sense for the
weekend warrior doing his best to stretch his days.
With simplicity in mind, along with ease of installa-
on, Alec suggested a Sicass Racing Light Kit. A bonus
of the previous-genera on (TPI) Austrian bikes is that
they came with a powerful 180-wa stator, which
can power lights on a bike not equipped with them
from the factory. With no need for an upgraded sta-
tor, you can install the Sicass Light Kit in well under
an hour. The kit includes an OEM KTM headlight as-
sembly, wiring harness, push/pull on/off light switch,
and an Acerbis XLED taillight. Now, I'll be honest, this
kit isn't gonna burn a beam in the sky, but it's perfect
for ge ng one out of the woods if the ride runs long
or issues arise.
The last order of business was freshening up the
cosme cs. Mully's bike is a ride that gets enjoyed
as intended, and it's certainly no shop queen. Al-
though the guards installed previously did their job,
the bodywork looked gnarly, with broken radiator
shrouds and lots of rock rash. Slavens makes it easy
with a complete body kit by Acerbis. We chose white
to give the bike a fresh look, and the icing on the
cake was a complete Slavens Racing graphics kit to
make the project pop.
