October 2026 27 Results-wise, Josh overalled just ahead of Liam Draper, with Stew Baylor P3, Grant P4, and Craig Delong P5. Jhak Walker con nued his impressive run of wins atop the NEPro2 class, winning all but the first test ahead of Jason Tino and James Jenkins, who looked really good on his new ride for Husky. In the Women's Elite class, Korie Steede cruised to victory ahead of Rachel Gu sh and Shelby Turner, all of whom will be in Portu- gal as well. So what's the verdict a er two Two-Day events? I heard a gripe or two about having to rearrange travel plans, but I can honestly say that the vast majority of what I heard was posi ve. People in the pits really like the Super Test. They like having their riders return reg- ularly during the day. Plenty of riders took advantage of the opportunity to get dry gear, clean goggles and gloves, a decent sandwich and fruit instead of a dry mangled energy bar. Offering a free non-scored class for first- mers drew 20 prospec ve new riders, so that looks like a good thing to me, too. The huge downside remains the absolutely staggering need for people to help with just about everything. Se ng up the Super Test alone is a manpower killer for half a day min- imum. I was looking at a venue down here in Texas, similar to Burning Rock, but had to can that idea 'cause there's no clubs nearby with the manpower needed. I know from personal observa on that Stew and Jade, Broc, Blake, Nick, Dan, and the rest are absolutely driving themselves to exhaus on trying to bring you the kind of events you want. I think the two- day events are here to stay, and I know the ANEC crew is constantly self-analyzing and brainstorming to make you smile on race day.
