This is the best chili around! Dad agrees with me. Later we are hanging out near the chili, and we see Chris and By Morgan Stevens Jerry. Dad really doesn't like just standing around while we could be riding. He asked Chris and Jerry if they were up for a ride, and of course they said yes. All of us slowly move to our bikes and we are ready to go. Smart me, I go first! Setting a fairly high speed, at least for me. I'm going along fine until I get to a corner. We are about two miles into the track and as I'm getting out of the corner I take a look over my shoulder to make sure that Dad, Chris and Jerry are still trailing me. I see them, great! As I go to look back at the trail in front of me, I notice that I'm heading straight towards a tree to my right! My first instinct was to turn hard to the left and get me away from that big tree. I end up turning too sharply to the left and my front tire hit the tree about four feet from the bottom, my front forks Jack Frost Family Fun Run compressed so much that I'm doing a handstand on the handle bars. From experience, those forks release fast and hard! There O Ride so we busted our butts to get everything washed and fast and I go crashing to the ground. Oh yeah! And remember ready to go! Dad and I had a blast Saturday, a little sore and that Suzuki 125 that I was just riding? Well here that comes, tired but nothing was stopping us from going to the Jack Frost down on top of me!!! The seat ends up landing on my feet ride. We woke up early Sunday morning and hit the road. I which didn't hurt that much. As I was laying on the ground knew a few of my friends were going to be there so I was super looking at the sky, about two seconds later I hear my dad rush excited to finally ride with them. We pulled in at about 9 over. He didn't even shut his KTM 450 off, he just layed it hard o'clock, after a long, boring two hour ride. I saw my dads onto the ground and came running over. He saw it all! friends Jerry and Danielle Sargent's camper parked in the back, I "Are you okay?!" reach over to my dad and say, "Dad look! Jerry's camper is over "Yes, dad I'm fine, just pick my bike up!" Dad picks my bike up there!" We slowly drove over and began to unpack our stuff. while Jerry rushs over to pick my dads bike up. None of us were in a big hurry because we knew that we could "Wow! This is a tank!" Jerry says as he's trying to pick it up and ride all day long. As I look to my right, I see my friend Abby look for a kick stand. (Which it doesn't have one) My dad DeFeo pull in. At that moment I get super excited. We meet up comes back over and rests his hand on my chest protector. under the sign up tent and make a plan that we will ride to- "DON'T touch me!" I say. He quickly removes his hand while gether. A few short minutes go by and we are ready to take off Jerry and Chris start to laugh. Dad asked me again if I was okay for our first few laps. I lead and set a fairly fast paced ride. We as I'm trying to sit up. I again say that I'm alright, just my elbow continue for about 2 more laps and finally take a break at noon. and wrist hurt. All I can smell is the amazing scent of the chili display. Dad and I "What about your back?" walk over, pleased with what we smell. After walking all the "My back? That doesn't even hurt at all." Which I'm fairly sur- way down the line, Katie Richards see us and tells us that we prised because that hit the hardest. Now that it's a few days have to try her dads! I've never really had chili prior to that day. after the ride, my side, near my hip is starting to hurt. Taking a little bit of Marc Richard chili, I put some into my "Do you want to ride back on the road?" Dad asked. I looked at mouth. It steams! I'm happy with what I smell. Mmmmm…. him like he was crazy. ne of the best rides I've ever been to in a long time! I go, sailing through the air like a bird! Remember that tree to My dad, mom and I all went to the Jolly Roger JDay my right that I was going to run into? Yeah, well my back hits Saturday, but we didn't want to miss this Familt Fun that tree hard about five feet up from the ground. Gravity hits November 2013 17
