as the leader, and could easily be spotted by the sheer speed he blasted over the endurocross obstacles. On the first lap, I was shooting the riders as they came into the Enduro-X "tire sections", and I can tell you Wally hit the 2nd set of tires so hard on the gas that he literally flew a good 15+ feet straight up as he launched off them!! Of course he did not limit this mayhem to the Enduro-X sections; as he could also be seen hucking the big tabletop, lap after lap, and pulling some sick look back whips off of one of the step up jumps. Everyone agreed he was fun to watch, as he cruised to an seemingly easy overall win, ahead of his brother Danny Palmer. Joe Bromley also had a solid ride, enabling a spot on the podium. Young Anthony Cileone took the top Schoolboy spot, and managed to work his way through many of the Sportsmen racers, finishing sixth overall. C Lite rider George Leuschal also worked his way up to a ninth overall finish, with C Open rider Jordan Clark taking first in his class, and eleventh overall, with C riders Nick Desmond and Brian Budd taking second in class, and seventeenth and nineteenth overall; with Kyle Riggins topping off the top twenty finishers. B Super seniors had Mike Leo leading every lap, putting in very consistent laps but Bruce Olsen had been on a mission after a slow start, and his fast pace brought him right up to Leo's fender on lap 4. The 5th and final lap proved to be Leo's undoing, as he bobbled in a section, and could not match Olsens pace and ended up in 2nd behind Olsen, with John Constantinou taking the final podium spot. As with the adult events, there was a huge turnout of kids and they also were from all of the regional off road series previously mentioned, as well as many kids from the MAMA motocross series. In racing action, Kyle Tino took the overall Youth win, with Henry Szmanski in 2nd, and Anthony Kropp in 3rd. Max Hernandez took the overall win in the PeeWees, followed by Joe Scotto, with Katie Benson rounding out the podium in the 3rd spot. The 50cc race was a barn burner, as Nathan Dulaney took the top spot, after a race long battle with Joseph Rainone. Dulaney had actually shadowed Rainone for 8 laps, before he moved into the lead the final 2 laps. Rainone kept the pressure on, but could not make the pass. Everyone I spoke to enjoyed the events of the weekend. The most common thing I heard (no matter what race) was how they liked the challenging aspect of this event and the diversity of terrain and conditions. , It is an event that they look forward to year after year! With that being said, if you did not make it this year, don't make the mistake of missing it in '14!!
