March 2014 33
sprint speed. I think 2014 is the year that
it all comes together for John.
4 Brendon Riodan: Brendan also had a
great 2013
with a lot of
solid rides.
The last race
of the sea-
son he suf-
fered a broken femur so we will have to
see if there are any lasting side effects.
He has had a strong off season racing the
J Day Grand Prix Series, so that will cer-
tainly help his speed. Brendan is fast
enough to win the overall on any Sunday
- and we expect
some wins from himthis year.
5 Nick Kordana: This being Nicks
sophomore season in the AA class I
am expecting him to contend for
podiums on a weekly basis. He gets
faster each year and will only build
on his success from last year.
With the competition being so close, it's really hard to say
what's going to happen - this is just my shot in the dark. Of
course there are always variables that you can't account for:
injuries, mechanicals, and the kid from the B class who turns
into Charlie Mullins over the off season. No matter what
happens, it's going to be a great season and I cant wait to get
it under way.
2014 is going to the year of Young Guns for the NETRA Hare Scramble season.
