day but not at all due to getting riders out of the woods, it was strictly to do with my inability to ride in the snow. To my complete surprise I got through the entire first section of trail (somewhere between 2 and 3 miles) without seeing a single rider. After going through the checkout onto the road we then made a hard left into the woods again and this is where the suffering really began. It would be some 13 miles until we would see road again. As the day went on it seemed to be getting harder and harder to just get through the sections, never mind racing. After 3 incredibly grueling sections I ar- rived back at the parking lot where the official gas stop was supposed to be, at first I thought I must be in the wrong spot because there was very few cars left. After a quick drink of water and a little fuel it was out to sweep the second half. When I arrived at the known the check crew said that only 24 riders answered the bell after gas, and of the 24, 6 cards marked and headed back to the truck. I'm not sure if it was fatigue or just less bikes in front of me but it seemed like there was a lot more snow on this portion of the course. You really earned every mile of trail. Luckily the last 3 sections of trail were only about 5 miles each so it was broke up by some roads to give you a little recovery time. Section 4 claimed 5 riders bring the total number of riders left on course 13 with 2 sections to go. Sections 5 and 6 were no less grueling than the previous but at least you could tell yourself you were on the home stretch. While I was slugging it out in the back, trying to clear the course, Dylan Macritchie was out front having set- ting a pace that no one would even be able to come close too. At the first check, 2 nd place was within 1 point of Dylan, but over the next 5 sections no one would get closer than six points. When it was all said and done Dylan dropped a mind-boggling 17, and the next best was Josh Toth with a 66, in not only his first AA race but the first Enduro he's ever done. Third overall went to John Kelly, with John Sadowski and the IRON MAN Rick Claxton rounding out the top 5. I have to say that the 60 th edition of the snow run was nothing short of epic, and anyone who survived can truly call themselves a NETRA enduro rider. The Ram- blers did an excellent job dealing with less than ideal conditions, and came off with an event that will be talked about for years to come. As always I have to thank everyone who helps me get to all of the events I go to. Trail Rider, Edelmanns, KTM, LDA, STS, Ccycle, EE, Bulletproof, Klim, Vee Rubber, and Scorpion. Thanks, I could not do it with out you. 2014 SNOW RUN 2/9/2014 Class results: A-HEAVY 1) MAIER, JOHN A-HEAVY 63 (1758) 2) WIERS, ERIC A-HEAVY 62 (3707) 3) NELSON, DAN A-HEAVY () A-LIGHT 1) BARRETT, DAN A-LIGHT 196 (2904) 2) RICHARDSON, BRAD A-LIGHT 210 (2208) 3) CANNY, NICK A-LIGHT 111 (2079) 4) PAUSE, CHAD A-LIGHT 91 (2497) 5) BERNARD, BRANDON A-LIGHT 47 (2812) A-SR A-HP CLAXTON, RICK A-SR 126 (2285) 1) OSTIGUY, MATT A-SR 151 (2490) 2) KANTOLA, JOEL A-SR 60 (3603) 3) HUBBARD, KEVIN A-SR 65 (3868) 4) GOLDBERG, FRED A-SR 90 (5415) 5) BARTOCETTI, RICK A-SR () A-SUPER-SR 1) SAUNDERS, BROOKS A-SUPER-SR 64 (3814) 2) STODDARD, JIM A-SUPER-SR 92 (5501) 3) ANTONIOU, STEVE A-SUPER-SR 103 (6195) 4) WURLITZER, GEOFF A-SUPER-SR () 5) PRATT, RON A-SUPER-SR () A-VET 1) ANDREWS, CARL A-VET 235 (2584) 2) SEYMOUR, RICH A-VET 115 (3954) 3) NEWCOMB, BILL A-VET 76 (4525) 4) HAMILTON, BROOKS A-VET () AA OA MACRITCHIE, DYLAN AA 17 (157) 1) TOTH, JOSH AA 66 (1081) 2) KELLEY, JOHN AA 73 (1548) 3) SADOWSKI, JOHN AA 105 (1913) 4) ARSENAULT, JESSE AA 130 (2906) 5) RUMMEL, DAMON AA 21 (1306) B-HEAVY 1) SAVOY JR, STEVEN B-HEAVY 274 (3026) 2) WEIK, TYLER B-HEAVY 118 (2189) 3) BEVERLY, DANA B-HEAVY 126 (4525) 4) RIDER, JON B-HEAVY 67 (4020) B-LIGHT 1) LEWONIS, BRIAN B-LIGHT 352 (3082) 2) SCHREINER, HARRISON B-LIGHT 405 (2929) 3) HENRICHON, CHRIS B-LIGHT 372 (4471) 4) WHITEHEAD, BRYAN B-LIGHT 114 (3759) 5) VANILIEU, PIETER B-LIGHT 106 (6378) B-SR 1) WEIK, TODD B-SR 149 (2199) 2) BACON, JEFF B-SR 147 (2583) 3) FELLADORE, SCOTT B-SR 171 (3415) 4) MUMFORD, RICH B-SR 208 (3657) 5) SMITH, TIM B-SR 167 (3688) B-SUPER-SR 1) LAMONTAGNE, MARK B-SUPER-SR 75 (4518) 2) TYER, JIM B-SUPER-SR 111 (5850) 3) BAREIL, PIERRE B-SUPER-SR 86 (5199) 4) MURRY, DAN B-SUPER-SR 101 (6052) 5) WILSON, RICH B-SUPER-SR 104 (6291) B-VET B-HP VANDERVALK, BILLY B-VET 139 (2500) 1) HANK, KEN B-VET 136 (4483) 2) KRIVESHKO, ILYE B-VET 183 (5883) 3) ABORN, ADAM B-VET 17 (1015) C-HEAVY BAZINET, EDDIE C-HEAVY () B-SR 1) WEIK, TODD B-SR 149 (2199) 2) BACON, JEFF B-SR 147 (2583) 3) FELLADORE, SCOTT B-SR 171 (3415) 4) MUMFORD, RICH B-SR 208 (3657) 5) SMITH, TIM B-SR 167 (3688) B-SUPER-SR 1) LAMONTAGNE, MARK B-SUPER-SR 75 (4518) 2) TYER, JIM B-SUPER-SR 111 (5850) 3) BAREIL, PIERRE B-SUPER-SR 86 (5199) 4) MURRY, DAN B-SUPER-SR 101 (6052) 5) WILSON, RICH B-SUPER-SR 104 (6291) B-VET B-HP VANDERVALK, BILLY B-VET 139 (2500) 1) HANK, KEN B-VET 136 (4483) 2) KRIVESHKO, ILYE B-VET 183 (5883) 3) ABORN, ADAM B-VET 17 (1015) C-HEAVY 1) BAZINET, EDDIE C-HEAVY () March 2014 27
