I
f you want to disnguish yourself in the evolving world
of off-road racing, you are going to have to do more than
just pracce riding off-road. Tradionally, the preferred
cross training choice of the off-road rider has been mo-
tocross - and with good reason. Nothing is beer for im-
proving speed and acquiring an aggressive riding style than
motocross. But is that it? Hardly. Trials cross training has
been around for a long me. Greats like Don Cutler and
Bud Peck were pioneers of transioning from trials riding to
enduro racing. There's also been a been a bit of a resur-
gence as of late courtesy of riders like Taylor Robert, Cody
Webb, Geoff Aaron and Louise Forsley. On the interna-
onal stage, Johnny Walker, Graham Jarvis, Taddy Blazusiak
and Chris Birch are rockstars on the Hard and Extreme En-
New England Trials Associa-
on President Charlie Gray

to clear a small rock face.
