September/October 2014 39 866 608 5731 should sell your bike and buy a set of golf clubs or some- thing without a motor. The club did a good job with ar- rowing and cut all of the face slappers for smooth sailing. The speed averages were set high all day to make this a pure speed event. The combinaon of flowing trail, fire cuts, open fields, and twisty ght trail made for a great variaon or racing. CDR had 5 points taking secons and two great transfer secons that could have easily been more racing secons. CDR kept you guessing to stay on me in the transfers secons. In the first secon, ISDE hopeful Kyle McDonal set the fastest me as the only rider to make a 2. Followed by Jeff Pasqua, Jarod Kulp and A-vet rider Andrew Tsakanikas with 3s's. Pasqua took a soil sample hing a downed log early on. This le him missing the flip and digging a hole early on to McDonal. In the next secon McDonal again set the fastest me edging Pasqua by 8 seconds extending his lead dropping a 3 -180 to Pasqua's 3 - 186. The enre rest of the AA riders including Steve Mason who had his maiden race back from injury dropped 4s or higher. Also back in the saddle and having a great return is Tim Met- nger on his re-purchased KTM XC 250. The next secon Pasqua regained a point and the lead by seng the fastest me with a 1 -79 while McDonal and Kulp scored a 2 -86 and 2 – 96 respecvely. In the final secon, the local McDonal displayed his speed once again seng the fastest me. Things were close, but the riders were not sure where they placed, so they waited for results. Some up and coming riders showcased their speed with impres- sive rides like Jarod Moan and Jack Cus. Keep an eye on them for the future! It was a lengthy wait for scoring due to some lost score cards by the club, but at days end, Mc- Donal edged out Pasqua by 7 seconds to take the overall win. Following a couple points behind and landing him- self on the podium was KTM Canyon Motorsports rider Jarod Kulp with a Great Ride. A vet rider Andrew Tsakanikas raced his Beta to fourth overall and High point A. Thanks for all the hard work from Dave Bostrom and CDR for a great event.
