As for bleeding the brake, a syringe type bleeder works best for this applica on given the length of the hose. With the rear track/skid frame assembly now fully installed, it was me to remove the front wheel and install the ski spindle that the ski would be mounted to. The ski spindle is installed with the exis ng KTM axle. To keep the spindle from rota ng, spindle fork clamps are mounted to the bo om of the lower fork tubes. With the fork clamps in place and the spindle rotated un l a 1/8-inch of lip showing at the fork caliper mount, four 5/16-inch holes are drilled into the ski spindle (using the fork clams as a drill guide). With the ski spindle fi rmly in place, the ski is then installed. Once completed, installa on of the Timbersled kit took us about three hours and that was with taking our me and documen ng the installa on.
