Late last fall, we were given the opportunity to test a rather rare, exotic ride, a new 2017 TM Racing EN 300. Since we're huge fans of all things 2 stroke here at Trail Rider, we leaped at the chance to ride this fi ne piece of machinery. is particular bike is owned by Alex Boisvert, son of Paul Boisvert, and was recently purchased at Bonjoe's Cycle Sport in Grand Island, NY. e bike was Boisvert's second TM purchase. Our testing grounds were the Boisvert farm, home of the annual Tom Noble Memorial Enduro. Conditions could not have been more perfect that late November day — we found tacky soil and mild temps. We knew it was going to be a long time before we would be riding in simi- lar conditions, so we hit the road with grins a mile wide! Initial impressions: If a dirt bike could be considered beautiful, the TM would be a supermodel. It's svelte, well-dressed and incredibly attractive; with extraor- dinary attention to detail, obviously a high-quality piece. e TM is an alu- minum-framed bike with impeccable welds by fi ne Italian cra smen, akin to perfectly strung pearls. Incredibly light in feel, small bore like; big bore in deliv- ery, ergonomics, roomy. Upon hopping aboard the TM300EN, it's immediately apparent that it's a woods racer / cross country racer, February 2016 25 2017 TM Racing EN 300 Exotic & Unconventional 2017 TM Racing EN 300 Exotic & Unconventional
