shine. On soil, frozen rock and solid glare ice
is where studs are worth thier weight in gold.
Trac on can now be found everywhere. Get silly
with the thro le on frozen mud and you'll be up
and over. Wheel spin is nonexistent. Certainly a
skill builder.
Shortly before print, we had a chance put Kevin's
Excelerator Pro's to the test on our local 12 mile
test loop. Condi ons were ideal, with temps
in the mid 20's and close to 10" of fl uff y fresh
powder on the ground, we suited up and hit
the woods. Just having the ability to ride trails
that no one had been on in weeks was a treat.
Steaming up the steepest climbs with the
thro le pinned, shoo ng a rooster of snow,
makes one feel all funny inside. Winter riding,
fl at out rocks and for those who say they don't
like the cold, I can assure you, layers will be
soon shed. Winter riding is one hell of a tough
work out!
Priced at $229.95 for the front and $249.95
rear, they're not cheap but keep in mind, snow
riding doesn't chew up rubber. It's not uncom-
mon to get a handful of years out of one set of
res. Don't let Old Man Winter keep ya from
living life my friends!
