used but both courses would take alternate direc ons with unique natural Xtreme Sec ons. The morning heats would ba le along a rocky river bank and a er the fi rst heats had been completed, the JDay crew re-routed the course for a ernoon heats which would then u lize a boulder and ledge for the Xtreme Sec on. It is clear that the extra eff ort put in by the whole JDay crew was appreciated and many are hoping for more events like this in the coming year. The two course format provided the opportunity to enjoy more of the terrain and also held a 'fresh' course which reduced the track deteriora- on that typically occur with the number of bikes that par cipate. A er a mid-season break it was fi nally me for He- monds weekend which was held in late July and is always a key event on the season schedule. Above all else, it is a group of people who share the same values, enjoy the same ac vi es and are always willing to help their fellow riders. If you've not yet ex- perienced a race in either of the series, there is no me like the present and you will quickly be embraced in to the family.
