18 Trail Rider torque. The design is similar to what's found on a TM. And not unlike what Honda was doing before they abandoned all 2-stroke development. Typically, I enjoy a heavier bike, as lighter bikes have always had a tendency to deflect under my mass. Heavier bikes feel more planted, especially in the faster, technical single-track. We've yet to weigh the Sherco, but I'm told it's about 205 lbs. It feels feather-light. What's so impressive is how well it works when pushed. As men oned above, it feels sprung for a faster, more experienced rider, and that's where this li le Sherco really shines. You can charge this thing into the rocks and it tracks straight. No deflec on at all. The WP linkage rear tracks straight, doesn't kick, and the XPLOR fork soaks up trail junk with ease without bo oming harshly. Yes, I used all the travel but it works so well for our terrain I didn't feel the need for heavier springs. The combina on of light-weight, zippy 2-stroke power that not only likes to be strung out but actu- ally has useable torque and suspension that's set up for real world woods riding is incredibly impres- sive. If you're sick of seeing yourself coming and going and enjoy marching to the beat of a different drummer, I highly suggest checking out the Sherco line. Well engineered with quality components, they sure are beau ful to look at and even more fun to ride! ELECTRONIC POWER VALVE WORKS WONDERS ON THIS APPLICATION
