February 2022 33 We enjoy featuring enthusiast owned companies and their products here at Trail Rider and we felt it was high me Nate Delaney of Delaney Drive Com- ponents got the spotlight. Nate's game is technical single track and desert racing. Nate's one of us, living the off-road lifestyle while making his living in the industry. Since 1999, Delaney has been a fierce compe tor in the Reno based, Motorcycle Racing Associa on of Northern Nevada (MRANN) aboard a fleet of Honda 4 strokes. The 2021 season being a highlight as Nate and Daughter Ava competed in the series together with Nate winning the 40+ class, Number 1 plate. Way to go Nate! As for DDC, the company was established in 2016 with a goal of filling a void in the industry. Having worked for years in the industry, Nate was aware of a disconnect between dealers, racers and man- ufactures. As a racer himself, Nate understood the importance of building a solid rela onship with racers along with dealers dealing with shrinking profit margins. With an ear to the ground, a prod- uct was born, the DDC rear sprocket. Designed with strength of utmost importance along with the lightest weight possible, DDC Sprockets have proven their worth in the hands of the toughest compe tors. With a tear drop shaped "beam" located di- rectly above each and every sprocket bolt the DDC sprocket stands alone providing greater resistance to impact damage. Manufactured from Chromoly steel and chrome plated for rust resistance, the DDC rear sprocket is a superior product. While in the process of freshening up our now three season old KTM 300 XC-W, the original chain and sprockets were in need of replacing. Since we'd had such great luck with DDC compo- nents in the past, an order for a compete drive- train kit was placed. DDC calls this kit the Hard- core Chain and Sprocket Kit. This kit includes front and rear sprockets, new bolts and a top quality RK Premium Gold XW-Ring Chain of 120 links including master. Chain and sprocket kits isn't the only thing DDC sells, they also offer products from many other top quality manufacturers such as Trail Tech, Tugger, Bullet Proof Designs and Mojo Moto- sport along with several others.
