April 2024 17 As for the skid plate on our new bike, we're thankful that KTM has included a skid plate on this model, but our rocky New England loca on requires more protec on than the factory plate offers. E Line's Carbon Fiber/Kevlar compos- ite skid plates are molded to the exact shape of the frame and wrap around the engine offering more protec on than the factory unit. We've been running E Line skid plates for years and we appreciate how they don't ring like an alumi- num plate. With Kevlar-reinforced construc on, E Line's skid plates protect the frame rails much be er than a plas c plate. Pipe guards are always a high- ly debated topic. Some choose not to run one but let's face it, if you're riding in rocky terrain, you're bound to smash your pipe eventually. For those who prefer to run a pipe guard, there are many op ons. The less expensive guards are suscep ble to packing with mud and increasing weight in the process. E Line's pipe guards fit ght to the pipe, snapping into place with zero room for mud and dirt to accumulate. As a bonus, they look gorgeous. E Line Fork Guards and Registra- on Wrap. Comple ng the pack- age, we opted for a set of E Line Fork Guards to protect the upper fork tubes from rocks and rash. They are feather-light and snap in place with zero tools required. E Line's Registra on Wrap protects the fork tube between the clamps while providing a nice spot to dis- play your trail or event s cker. Visit elineaccessories.com for pric- ing and more info. -Kurt
