Mark Sterdavant Mark Sterdavant Sunday Vintage: Almost a carbon copy of Saturday's overall results, but no ng that Jeff Oakley kept Clint honest, log- ging within the same me for 3 laps as Clint. That's good and close racing! Sco Price, also going to Germany in September, put his old Husky through its paces and won the 50+ Expert Class. While Carl Hill put in a good race, taking the 60+ Intermediate class. Great racing by all! Sunday Post Vintage, Pre-Modern, Next Gen, and Millennium: Again, Fred and a couple of the kids started taking down the woods. As they approached some of the lapped riders, Fred and Malcom Smith came upon a guy lying upside down on a hill, his bike on top of him. Fred and Malcom stopped to help him get righted, but were passed by Deegan Crum while this was all going on. Well, you know Fred was having none of that. Fred caught Deegan and pulled in just a few seconds ahead at the finish line. I am sure those guys enjoyed their me with Fred in the woods. Not many people get to do that! Great ride for Deegan, Cody Bock, Randy Bailey, and Malcom Smith! Na onal Enduro Champion Terry Cunning- ham, also Germany-bound as a member of the elite Trophy Team along with Fred Hoess and Billy Burns, recovered from a flat re on Saturday to take the Historic Open Expert class aboard his 1976 Husky 360 Vintage Trophy bike. Jeff Oakley, Marc Therrien, and also Germany-bound Chris Gillespi were 1, 2, and 3 in the 60+ Expert class. Jared Morris says in his video that "this is his first race back a er many years," and he must have had fun because he won the 200 Inter- mediate class on a beau ful Yammy IT 200. To sum it up, this was one of my favorite races of the season! The woods were great, the property is beau - ful, the trails were though ully laid out, and the event was smooth and well-organized. I hope they bring it back next year, and I hope you and your friends get the chance to enjoy the East Tennessee woods. Again, a huge thanks to the Hawk family, the Strange family, all the volunteer riders, and everyone who comes and provides the manpower and me to make this event a huge success!
