Cooling gel applied to re crown Cooling gel applied to re crown PROLINX segment custom cut for feel PROLINX segment custom cut for feel Full length PROXLINX ready for inser on Full length PROXLINX ready for inser on For this feature, we used Bridgestone's Ba lecross X31 front and a gummy E50 Extreme rear. By adding 2" to our gap length for the front, we cut the fourth sec on to 13.5" to achieve a feel of 6-8psi as if it were a tube, and placed it in with the remaining three sec- ons. As for the rear, per the chart, to achieve a feel of 6- 8 psi again, we deducted 3" from the gap length and cut the fourth sec on as needed, placed it in the re, mounted it to the rim, then installed the wheel- sets and hit the trail. How does the NITRO PROLINX perform? Well, my friends, I'm sold. We mounted our PRO- LINX-equipped wheelset to our Beta 200 RR X-PRO test bike and hit the woods in search of rocky, loose climbs for a proper evalua on. Having been quite familiar with the Bridgestone X31 front/E50 Extreme rear combo, I knew trac on would be good, but what truly impressed me is how well the res, especially the rear, conform to rocks, roots, and basically any obstacle that might cause loss of trac on or deflec on. As men oned previously in this issue, I'm quite smi en with the Beta 200 RR X-PRO. With proper res for our bony terrain and the new NITRO PROLINX system, the li le Beta has been transformed into a mountain goat! For more info, visit h ps://www.nitromousse.com/
