minimum, rotors were cleaned up with emery paper. Coolant was drained, flushed and filled with Evans Waterless Coolant. We've got plans for this old relic and boil- ing over ain't on the list! The real money was spent on new res and tubes. We haven't been quiet about our love for the Kenda Ibex/Triple-S cky combo. It works oh so well in New England terrain. Our buddy Ma Meyers at COR Moto Graphics provided a cool custom graphics package that hid a lot of sins. Now all cleaned and ready to rock, we hit the trails to see how it stacks up against today's woods weapons, and you know what? It's a hoot to ride and extremely comfortable too, with that big wide, deep seat. Although on the so side for this big kid, the suspension is supple and plush. For slow going in the rocks (all we got is rocks), it does the job quite well. Even though it's only a 200, the FMF pipe and silencer com- bo lets it breathe. It likes to be revved, and when hung out, the front wheel is high in the air with that Ibex on the back! In the end, we've got well under a grand into this build. Projects just like this are out there to be had. If funds don't allow for a new 10k KTYZCRFX, waking up and enjoy- ing an old ride is a good way to get your- self back in the dirt. Ask your friends and co-workers, there's always a bike lurking for all of us if you're willing. -Kurt June 2018 39
